Cardiology

We work with you and your veterinarian to diagnose and provide compassionate, expert care to pets with heart conditions.

Brian MacKie, DVM, DACVIM works with our veterinarians to provide cardiology services for patients who have congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, pulmonary hypertension, and other heart-related diseases. Dr. MacKie is available for consults, electrocardiography (EKG), and echocardiograms by appointment or on an emergency basis. Our cardiologist will work in conjunction with you and your regular veterinarian to provide the comprehensive care your pet needs.

A variety of cardiovascular conditions and diseases can affect veterinary patients, including heart failure, valve problems, and high blood pressure. While some cardiac conditions may be serious, many heart diseases are manageable on an outpatient basis and allow for a good quality of life. Early diagnosis and effective treatment will increase your pet’s opportunity to live a normal life.
