About

Dr. Jose De La Espriella is originally from Connecticut. He finished his undergrad at University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Pathobiology and Veterinary Science.  He then attended veterinary school at Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine.  In 2018-2019, Dr. De La Espriella completed a rotating internship at VCA Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center. He then joined the Atlantic Street team in July 2019.

His special interests in emergency medicine include emergency diagnostic imaging, ophthalmic emergencies, and cardiac emergencies.

His personal hobbies include swimming, hiking, exercising, playing board games, and rollerblading. He has two pets, Eevee the cat and Yunka the dog.
