Dr. Megan Guyan is originally from the area, but attended veterinary school at Kansas State University where she was awarded a Health Professions Scholarship by the United States Air Force. After graduating she served over five years active duty as an officer and continues to serve today in the Air Force Reserves. During her active duty career, she was stationed in England where she obtained her Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons qualification and practiced mixed animal emergency medicine overseas! Since moving back to the local area in 2021 she has focused her skills on small animal emergency medicine. 

Dr. Guyan is an avid equestrian and enjoys competing in three-day eventing. She was a collegiate rower and remains passionate about health and fitness. Dr. Guyan is also a great baker and loves to bring treats into the hospital to enjoy.
